Interviewing My Peers makes My Life The Best

Have you taken the time to get to know your peers... the people who are doing the same thing you are doing? You may not be doing the exact same thing but are in a similar field or using the sames means to accomplish their goal.

For instance, in addition to my Kids' Keys Business and all of it's offshoots, I also have a forum called the Blog Train. I am sooo grateful I have developed this site because there are amazing people who participate on the site.

There are times when I feel overwhelmed and ask myself, "Why did I ad this to my already full plate when I don't have time to do the basics, like clean my house and enter an article in submission sites?"

But reality really hits when I take a moment and read the members blogs, have the opportunity to call and talk with them about their business and their experiences, and really listen to what they have to say.

I LOVE it because I learn so much and I feel so affirmed after talking with each person. My load of "projects", "work", and "headaches" doesn't seem so bad because I hear what my peers are doing. I actually feel humbled and in awe by their determination, courage, and intelligence.

A dear friend once told me, one of the greatest gifts her mom told her was..."If you ever feel down, frustrated, overwhelmed, or unappreciated do something for someone else!"

Boy, if I didn't try it I wouldn't have believed it, but it works every single time!!

Not that I am saying my "help" is making such a huge difference in someone life but just the "act" of me trying to truly "help" someone else works every time.

That is why I am so grateful I developed the blog train. If it wasn't my responsibility to update it every day (like on another blogger forum) I would probably have let it go because "I am too busy". But because I made the commitment to try to help others it gives back to me 10 times the amount.

Thank You EVERYONE at the Blog Train!

Check out my interviews with incredible people!!

Multi-Level Marketing...Will It Make Your Life The Best?

by Dustin Cannon

Multi level marketing often gets a bad rap in the business world. Sometimes, that reputation is deserved. Unfortunately, by nature of its structure, multi level marketing lends itself to scams.

Many legitimate multi level organizations exist, but there are also tons of these companies that run pyramid schemes, ponzi schemes and that simply have set up to try and bilk their "reps" out of their hard earned money.

The good news is that a bad multi level marketing scam is relatively easy to spot if you know what to look for.

If you avoid companies whose main source of income is derived from joining fees and encouraging new members to sign up and if you avoid companies that charge their reps such high prices for the products that making a profit is next to impossible, then you can easily navigate your way through all of the multi level marketing scams to find a set up that could actually allow you to make a profit. But once you find that opportunity, is it really the right one for you? How do you know if you will be successful in multi level marketing?

For entrepreneurs like you, multi level marketing is all about sales. You have to be able to go out there and sell, sell, sell.

That often means having the gift of the gab and being comfortable talking to and giving your pitch to all different kinds of people. It also usually means being comfortable in front of a room of people making a pitch, and you have to be confident enough to make cold call sales, where you're often to face a great deal of distrust at first. You need to have a knack in figuring out the best approach for the person you want to sell to, and you need to have the ability to switch between different sales approaches with ease.

Above all else, you need to be able to sell without seeming insincere or aggressive - but you still need to make the sale. Selling in this way is usually an innate talent. Some people can do it and some people can't.

Be honest with yourself about your sales skills. Will you be able to step up to the plate to the extent that you need to close your deals, or is selling not really your strong suit? Your success in multi level marketing will be determined by the answers to these questions.

In addition to selling well, you have to be able to find you own sales opportunities. This can mean marketing yourself and your services and always keeping an ear to the ground for a new opportunity. You'll have to constantly develop new avenues for your sales, which can be tremendous time commitment - time when you're not actually making any money.

If you can manage these tasks, however, multi level marketing can be a very lucrative and rewarding career. Simply honestly evaluate your skills, and you could hit a multi level marketing home run.

Video Marketing Makes Your Life The Best

Video Marketing by Dean Dryer

Video marketing is just what it sounds like, selling a product or service through the use of video.

You may be thinking that the use of video would not be worth the potential cost. However, studies have shown that video, used correctly is an impressive medium for sales.

Studies have been done over the years on the effectiveness of video and here is what many like the Wharton School of Business found to be true:

• Video boosts comprehension by 50% over the same presentation given by a live speaker. • 97% of videos are watched, people believe that videos have intrinsic value and will not as readily throw them away, unlike the junk mail they get every day.

• Some studies say that as many as 94% will then pass the video on to someone else.
These are some impressive numbers when looked at from a marketing perspective. It is clear that there are some valid reasons for adding video marketing to a successful business. There are three ways that you can go about putting video in the hands of potential clients.

1. Mass mail to a current list of potential clients
2. Send them in response to a request
3. Add it as an incentive to purchase, included is this free video....

These are all valid marketing ideas, however today we live in an age driven in large part by the internet. Rough estimates put about 80% of Americans online, that is a large number of people that are reachable. The thing about marketing the internet is that by the time a customer finishes searching for a product their attention span is shortened. This means you have a small amount of time to make a good impression, communicate clearly, and sell them on your product.

Video is a great way to do this, the key will be in creating a brief video that captures attention but is not so overbearing that your potential customer is clicking their way to the competition.

Keeping Your Blog Up To Date Makes Your Life The Best

Take a look at your blog. When was the last time that you updated it? Was the last entry that you wrote about your summer vacation back in June, and it's now November? Or was the post about last Christmas, when it's almost this Christmas? If you are someone that has months in between your blog entries, you are missing the point of having a blog.

A blog is basically an online diary. It's something that people use to express their thoughts, their frustrations, and their victories. Blogging is something that people use to keep in touch with other people and to make new friends. So why wouldn't you keep it up to date?

There are a couple of reasons why keeping your blog up to date is a good idea.

Money:

One of the biggest reasons why you should keep your blog up to date is that there paying blogging programs that require you to have so many posts in a month. They want to know that people are following your blog and that people are going to read the posts.

Keeping in touch:

The other reason why it's a good idea to keep your blog up to date is that there are people who are friends with you on the Internet and they want to know that you are doing okay.
Blogging is fun and something that a lot of people do, but it's important that you keep your blog up to date so that people know that you are doing okay and so that you can be eligible for blogging for money.

Connecting With Your Customers Makes Your Life The Best

The "About" Page, also known as your bio page, is one of the most visited pages on a blog. Readers want to know the author of a blog: their story and why they are blogging. Yet most business bloggers are missing this opportunity to connect with readers. Many blog authors write about their education and job history in a dry manner.

Your 'About' page should be written appropriately for your blog - not copied from a professional bio or CV where you talk about yourself in the third person.

Remember a blog is a conversation, more like writing an email to your favorite client. The more you can connect with readers by using the "I" and "you" pronouns, the more it will feel and read like a conversation.

More importantly, rather than delivering your past experiences and education, your about page is an opportunity to connect with readers on an emotionally profound level.

What's your story?

Why did you decide to start a blog?

Why are you passionate about your niche?

What were the pivotal moments in your life and work that led you to where you are now?

People want authentic stories. They want to know who the person is talking to them through the blog. Why should they care what you have to say? What makes you the expert? Why should they believe anything you say?

Tell readers about the challenges you've faced and how you've overcome them. Be real with readers. When you are transparent, you become someone readers can relate to; readers will begin to connect and see more than words written on a web page.

Your business blog is more than a brochure or a marketing tool. It's an opportunity to establish intimacy with readers who are searching for inspiration and solutions to their problems. People do business with people, not companies. It's up to you to breath life into your blog and the "About" page is the place to start.

Strengthening Personal Character Makes My Life The Best

Well, a new day is dawning in the USA.

Whether you are happy about the results of last night's election it is time to stand behind the people who are in the leadership positions and support them.

By support I mean ultimately do what our laws dictate but use discretion and decorum when stating your thoughts, beliefs, and different point of view.

I think one reason why Obama and McCain were able to make it as far as they have in US politics is because of their ability to understand and see what people are saying and their motives even if they don't agree.

Their ability to empathize, to be tolerant, and flexible are true signs of being a leader and I think everyone can learn from their example.

McCain did an awesome job conceding to Obama. True class, dignity and decorum.
Those characteristics are what have made him an amazing leader.

(I only wish we saw more of it during the campaign...on both sides).

So, Why am I talking about this, here. I know I am not a political sight. I wanted to bring a real example of the characteristics to strive for in becoming a good leader, parent, friend, and business owner. These things really really need to keep in the for-front of our thoughts each day we are doing what we know how to do best... give to others.

Well, there is my soap box for the day!

Here's to HOPE!

Are You On Your Way to Making Your Life The Best?

Have you been wanting to learn more about how to really work from home and become financially free? There are so many "get rich quick" advertising, programs and systems guaranteeing to change your life, but how many programs really stand behind what they say?

Sure there are many false advertising, scam programs out there. There are even more great companies out there to partner with and become affiliated with. But what are some things to look for when deciding to take the plunge and risk it.

Obviously, the criteria for any good business is to be legitimate, reputable, have recorded longevity, and actually do as they say they are going to.

Some other criteria may not be as obvious. One such having great "customer care" or "customer service".

True, most companies are smelling like roses when you read, see, and are lambasted by their advertisements. Most companies are still smelling good after initial interest is expressed (if it isn't run; run fast and run far). Still many are still smelling appetizing during your buying process (hand over your card and the company is all too giddy to take your credit number, expiration, and code).

However, the companies that really stand out and become recognized as "stellar" and "extraordinary" in what they do are the ones that anticipate what your needs are and offer the services to you just before you realize you need it.

These companies are far and few between. Unfortunately, they too, are reserved for the higher income bracket of our society. Plus, those of us not in the highest socio-economic level, often, can not relate to and/or believe that type of service exists. These type of service is generally viewed for only those who employ a personal assistant.

I am here to tell you, or rather remind you there are businesses who are thoughtful, conscientious, and responsible to their customers.

I am not normally one to gush over any type of affiliate, direct sales, indirect sales, etc. kind of companies, but I am totally blown over and utterly impressed with the sincerity, integrity and purposefulness of this company.

I personally know the CEO of this company and it is with extreme pleasure.

I was offered an incredible opportunity to know the CEO personally not because I am a leading affiliate, nor the referral guru, but because I am recognized as a person who has used the program as it was intended. My life has been entirely changed by this experience.

My hope, faith, belief, and soul has been made stronger and more resilient.

I am incredibly grateful and indebted to Mary Gersten!

If you don't know who she is you need to! Go here to find out more!

Because of my decision to become involved with Mary Gersten's company I am on my way to achieving my dreams.

My dreams were not made over night nor will I be able to achieve them overnight. But, because of Mary Gersten and her company I am on the road needed, set in the right direction, and provided with an accurate map.

"Nothing comes for free"... we all really know that, even when our impulsive desires trick us at times.

Achieving your dreams is not like going to bed and waking up the next morning to a fantasy. It is identifying what it is you want and finding a way to get there. Mary has done that for me.

Thanks You Mary, From the bottom of my heart!! You are helping me to "Make My Best Life Now!"

"Parenting LEVERAGE" Makes Your Life The Best

Want to know what will make us parents better parents and give us more time to work on our busineses?

Kids' Keys To Success has just released their latest program "Parenting LEVERAGE"!

Parenting LEVERAGE is a super affordable monthly membership to change the way mom and dad view parenting and make parenting fun and easy.

I know every parent wants to be the best parent they can be.

I know this goal often gets lost in the chaos of work, schedules, school, errands, chores, etc.; all the demands that tug and pull you away from being able to focus on your ultimate goal: raising your child to be well-rounded, have an rock-solid confidence, adaptable personality, and an empathetic soul.

As a result of constant demands away from our parenting goal we experience awful consequences: frustration, feeling overwhelmed, tired, inadequate, not living up to the goals you set as a new parent... to name a few.

Parenting LEVERAGE changes all of this with audio lessons and recommended activities for your family (included activities for each age level of your child and activity to do as a family)

So you don't have to think and you see the results!

Plus, you have the opportunity to be coached by a clinical therapist.

Driving Traffic Makes Your Life The Best

The best way I know of generating traffic is by using articles. If you can make a sincere promise to yourself that over the next 12 weeks you will create a minimum of five articles per day, then after 12 weeks, you will see a tremendous difference in the number of subscribers on your list and the improved quality of your list.

It isn't easy, but it definitely works.

What you need to do on a regular basis is to sit down and create your articles.

You first need to create an enticing heading. The heading must be compelling enough to get readers to click on and read your article. Then you need to create an article that is full of valuable information.

You can teach your reader something new in your particular niche, or you could tell them some new information.

Whatever you do, it is important that your article helps the reader.

Then you need to find a list of four or five article directories that will continuously submit your articles online.

These directories must have a list of regular readers.

There are some article directories available that will produce zero traffic, and it is very important that you avoid these like the plague. It is also important that you have a squeeze page with which to generate your list.

When a reader clicks on to your article and clicks on to your link at the bottom of the article, there must be some kind of mechanism such as the squeeze page that will take your reader's name and e-mail address, and in return, give them a free product of some description.

An e-book is perfect.

An e-course is good.

A recording is also effective.

The final thing you should be able to do is to monitor your statistics.

How many articles are you submitting on a regular basis? How many readers are reading your articles? How many people are clicking through your articles to your website, and how many are actually submitting their names and e-mail addresses?

With this sort of information, you will be able to make dramatic improvements to your traffic-generating skill. Over a period of 12 weeks, you will dramatically increase the number of people, the number of subscribers that opt in to your list. And this, in return, will manifest itself in greater sales of your products and services.

Expersts Definietly Make My Life The Best!

Successful network marketing can be very profitable and it can be done in three easy steps. Over 95% of network marketers fail, so it is important that you know how to make it a success.

Here are the three steps:

Make sure you choose a stable product - This means it has to have some staying power. It should also be a product that not everyone in the world is offering. If they are, you're not going to have much of a foundation underneath you. You want a product that is going to last for a very long time.

Use auto-responders - This means you're going to be able to email people even when you're not at the computer. An auto-responder takes care of that for you since you can't contact all of your leads all on your own. You can be so much more productive by utilizing this tool.

Be sure to use the internet - Don't go about the old fashioned way of network marketing. Use the internet and use it to its fullest. That will make an incredible difference in how your business does.

Follow these three steps and you're on your way to being a success. If you have any questions, the internet is a fantastic source to find what you need. If you want to take courses from someone, that is available as well. Know that the world is your oyster and you can run with it.

Don't get frustrated, but get motivated and do what is needed to be a success.

Recognition Makes My Life the Best

Do you know what really makes my life the best?

Winning a contest! I won the "Student Of The Month" for GCFN's contest. Yahoo!!!

The best part is you too can win! The top prize this month is $1000.00. That isn't a typo...there are three zeros there!

The even better part, is you will learn the right ways to market on line such as write press releases, articles, create web sites, write copy, and more....risk free.

You do have to pay a small fee to join because the company wants to make sure you are serious about putting the time and energy in. But after you complete the 14 pt. check list you get it all back!

You are probably wondering... there must be a catch.. well, of course there is. Life always has strings, but this is one you can handle.

The string is: while you are given the tools to learn how to do all the above mentioned things you do it for the GCFN program. You place the ads, articles, press releases, and any referrals you get you make a commission from. (did you catch that head fake?)

Yep, they even teach you how to become a successful affiliate. Marketing someone elses product can be tough so GCFN teach you how to do that too.

And while they are teaching you to market for GCFN. You can apply the same tools for your own business. They show you how to do it all. Check out how I started mine!

*(hint... You are even encouraged to call upon the support team to help you with your own business!!!)

I still can't believe the genius behind this program, because they make money when you refer someone to them and then you make a commission, plus you learn how to do it for your own business.

That truly is the only catch! I stand behind this one hundred percent because this is what GCFN did for me!

Find out more here...it doesn't cost ANYTHING to talk to someone!

Best Wishes!

The Economy Stinks but there is One Way To Make My Life The Best

I just have to say... "HALLELUJAH"

I love this song!!

Anyway, the reason why I am saying Hallelujah is because I went to an event called Wee Peats this weekend.

Have you been? Have you heard of this company? I saw them highlighted on an entrepreneurs show recently, The Big Idea with Danny Deutsch

This company is awesome!

If you are looking for a releatively new company to learn from check them out and attend an event!

Here is the link to Wee Peats and keep an eye open for an event near you... You'll be so glad you did!

The place was packed and it was the second day. I found incredible deals and I know the business is doing great.

The women who built this business found a great nitch. One that has been around for years but exploded the idea and made it really incredible.

My sisters and I all came away happy and feeling like we made a killing. The clothing was so cute and in such great shape!

Can you tell I can't say enough about this!!

If you want to avoid high costs on clothing your kids for the year, check out Wee Peats!!

Asking Questions Makes Your Life The Best

Recently I had an awesome opportunity to interview a very inspirational dad. His name is Martin Ramirez.
Martin's son Mario was born with Down Syndrome. When Mario was first diagnosed Martin did everything he could to learn how to "fix" it.

Through Mario's love and the lessons he shared with his father, Martin has a very different perspective about the challenges life gives us.

I thought this was a really great lesson for those of us building our businesses and building our lives to be something better.

Martin asked, "Do you ask that your challenges get easier, or do you ask for the blessings you need to meet your challenges?"

I am a spiritual person and so this hits home for me. This question has really changed the way I have been looking at things.

Will it for you?

I think it is a great question especially for people who are trying to do something outside the box. We are facing unknown territory. Territory for us that has been uncharted. We are lucky and more importantly blessed.

God, or your higher power is making resources available to you. They are all around you. The next question is whether you will see and acknowledge them.

Go here to listen to more of what Martin has to say... it just may be one of your blessings!

Yoga Is Making My Life The Best

How do you relax, recharge, reorganize (mentally)?

I was never good at relaxing. When I was growing up I was always on the go like the little Energizer Bunny. (Wow, I am showing my age..do they even have those commercials on anymore?)

I was very involved at school. If I wasn't in practice, I was doing something for my class, and volunteering for something. If I wasn't doing that I was working.

My day started at 5:45am and usually returned home around 9 - 9:30pm. Then I did homework until midnight or so.

I look at it now and think, "What, was I crazy? Where did I get the energy?" Today, I'm shot by 1 in the afternoon and often fall asleep when I put my son down for a nap.

When I first met my husband, he introduced me to this thing called "Just Being.

We would go hiking or what ever and just sit down and do nothing. We didn't have to talk, we literally did nothing!!

Weird dates, I know!!

But that was one major reason why I fell in love with him. I didn't have to "do" anything to feel accepted. It was such a freeing experience.

Have you ever experienced anything like this? If not, you should!

Jeff and I have gotten away from "Just Being" since we had kids. Kids change EVERYTHING!

We try to go out on a date at least three times a month, but there is that effort to go do something. If we are home we are playing catch up with something (school work, laundry, the yard, cleaning, the business, the list goes on and on and on!

There is one thing I realized that doesn't quite hit the mark for just being but comes oh so close... YOOOOGGGA!

I take my youngest with me and put him in child-watch. Emmy is in school and I head down to the studio with mat in hand for "me time". What a great feeling, even though I still feel a little guilty for not spending all of the time with my youngest.

My excuse for taking the time away from time with my youngest, is because yoga is exercising. I do "active yoga" and by the end of the class I am like a used dish rag (limp and soaked with perspiration (why does "perspiration" sound less "yucky" than "sweat"?)).

The part of Yoga I love the most is at the end when your muscles are twitching from exertion and you feel like you would like nothing better then to fall into a deep coma, you are instructed to lay down (like someone is going to draw your "corpse pose").
I lay flat on my back, called Savasana, I try to match my physical position to resemble my thoughts of receiving opportunities and life.

I stay there, meditate and find relaxation, reflection, and rejuvenation. I reorganize my mind and find peace.

I am so grateful to my yoga instructor, Lisa. She is the best!

If you haven't tried yoga you should and if you have, isn't it wonderful?!!

It is the best way I have found to help me get my mind in the game for work and family.

It is one key to making my life the best.

Making My Life The Best With Mary Gersten

I want to tell you a little about my discovery. I learned more about myself in the last couple months working this program than in the last 5 years.

In the last five years I stopped working outside my home, became a mommy twice, lost my best friend, mentor, and mother-in-law to cancer, and have been struggling for two years to save my marriage.

Mary Gersten's program has not only given me tools to develop my business but resources, information, and incredible support to transform my life. I have found so many missing pieces and have been able to wipe away the grime covering them from years of neglect and abuse.

Has that ever happened to you? I feel like I am born into a different light. Life was such a struggle before. I mean everything was a struggle. Little things like getting up in the morning, deciding how to talk with my spouse let alone, seeking, practically begging for acceptance, approval, and gratitude, all the time!

I gave my power, my will to someone, to anyone who was in eye-shot.(I know the term is generally earshot but I think our eyesight has greater distance). I always observed others with confidence attracting other peopes attention and curiosity.

The funny thing is I have only spoken to Mary once. Isn't it incredible that I have only spoke with a person one time and can say she helped to "transform" my life?

Mary has created a program, a training, that seems like it was developed just for me. What Mary has created is nothing short from genius! What is the reason I can say this?

Because Mary hasn't left a single piece out of the puzzle including her integrity and genuine commitment to her students!

Addicted..Making My Life The Best

Are You an Addict? I Know I am.

Did you know you can be addicted to just about anything? I love beginnings. I love the excitement I feel when starting a new project and making a new commitment to something. I especially love starting a new friendship with someone I click with.

I think probably a lot of people are like this too. You more than likely are since your are reading this!

But there is a problem with this, I do great starting something (a new business, workout schedule, practicing, writing in journals). I get really into it, and I go full speed. Then, I get distracted or hit a speed bump and I switch gears and move onto a new "thing".

I'm not sure why but I think it has something to do with growing up in a traumatic house. I had to be ready for the next incident. Maybe it is a habit or possibly a way to avoid tough issues. (Can I procrastinate more?)

Are you an "action addict" too? This is a powerful yet limiting quality!

So, I asked: "Do I suffer from ADD"?; "Is there something wrong with me?"; "Do I have a fear of succeeding?"; and "Do I cut and run when the going gets tough?"

I know there is some fear of success (I will tell you more about that later). I know too, that I love the excitement, the challenge and the adventure of doing "something", "anything" new. It gets my blood pumping and my creative mind rolling like an avalanche.

The ability to identify my weaknesses and strengths are definitely a necessity but to learn how to reign in my weaknesses and use my strengths to develop them into something greater is a real blessing.

I found a lady who has offered information and wisdom that I have never found before. She offered some great info., which I was happy about and satisfied. But, then she kept delivering, again and again. Her support, dedication, and program has changed my life.

Her name... Mary Gersten.

What Is Stopping You From Making Your Life The Best?

Do you know when you have worked so hard to complete a puzzle only to find as you have nearly finished, there was a missing piece stopping you from completing it?

Isn't that frustrating?! I have been doing this my entire life. There has always been this piece of me where I couldn't figure out why I had a fear of money and held to the belief that I wasn't smart and worthy enough to make money.

I have a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work. You would think with a Master's Degree, a degree I worked long and hard for...hours of study, classes, clinicals, internships, volunteering, that I would have made more than a person working at a fast food restaurant and believed my services, time, and effort is worth more.

My Graduate School

I was always told (and worse, I believed) by my parents, school, and society that if I worked hard and had a good education I would be rewarded and live a good life.

That didn't happen for me. I worked up to 70-80 hours a week in a very stressful position (Sexual Assault Coordinator) and made about $6.90 per hour! My resposibilities included psychotherapy with a case load of 30-50 people, 3 groups, PR for the program, statistics and feedback info. collection, community out reach, conference coordination and training, and expert testifying. Crazy huh!!

You would think I had at least a secretary or someone to help... Nope! All me, one person. I was so insane for taking this job. I think a lot had to do with the piece that was missing (I think it was lost in the couch!)

If you want to learn more about where I found my missing piece, go here.

This Makes My Life The Best!

I am so excited, I was chosen as the "Student Of The Month" from Global Cash Flow Network!

I recently found out and since then my opinions have been reaffirmed about their superior customer service and genuine care and dedication for their students.

I submitted an essay about what has been the greatest thing I have learned during the program. So, I wrote about the life changing information found with in a newsletter, The 2 Comma Club. Access to this newsletter is an example of the "over delivery" of their commitment to assist their students to reach his/her dreams.

I feel so privilege! First I was told since I won student of the month, GCFN would donate $250 to my favorite charity... St. Jude Research Hospital. Then to my great pleasure I was given an opportunity of a lifetime...Mary Gersten, herself, scheduled an appointment to interview me!

Not only did she take time to get to know me and my goals but she offered valuable information and inspiration! I thought this was such a fantastic thing in itself but then it got even better!

GCFN sent me a Flip Video! Is that cool or what? I am so blessed! Thank You Mary and Global Cash Flow Network! I will b e sure to send you a video testimonial (as soon as I get my hair cut tomorrow!)

Stay tuned, because soon I will have the link to my interview with Mary! You'll want to hear it! (I just couldn't wait to tell you all!)

Helpful Techniques To Learn Chinese Makes Life Easier

When you learning Chinese or anything, it is best to learn many variations or different techniques. This creates a better understanding and a solid foundation for success.

Here are some tips and techniques to help you to master the Chinese language. Note: Using multiple tips will maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and ease of learning. Always remember to have as much fun when learning.

Step 1

The first thing anyone should do is learn Chinese Pinyin. This is the Chinese phonetic alphabet used to pronounce Chinese characters and helps you to distinguish the 4 different tones used.

(Unlike in European languages, initials (simplified Chinese: 声母; traditional Chinese: 聲母) and finals (simplified Chinese: 韵母; traditional Chinese: 韻母, or rhyming sounds) - and not consonants and vowels - are the fundamental elements in Pinyin)

Step 2

Take the time to listen, as well as practice, both simple Chinese sentences and vocabulary, to memorize it.

Here are tips to achieve the above two steps:

a. Take a local community Chinese class to carry out practice drills with a study partner. The more you are able to speak the language, the easier it will be.

b. Buy a good dictionary, with the right phonetic spellings of each word.

c. Find a native Chinese speaking person and spend time conversing in their language. (There are a lot of Chinese/US exchange programs; Exchange language lessons.)

d. Barrow or purchase audios/software programs where you listen to and then repeat out loud what you ahve heard. Finding Chinese Newspapers and magazines can be a big help!

e. Sing Chinese songs. Go to your local library, or purchase online some tapes and CD's, and then listen to them. Emmerse yourself in the culture so you can speak the words and the sentences on your own.

f. It is important to review all your "learned" words regularly to keep them fresh in your mind.

Step 3

Spend time writing Chinese. You will not only understand the strokes and rules relating to each Chinese character, but it will provide a sound foundation of how each character is formed.
Below are some tips:

a. To memorize each character, write them until you remembered them. Start with the easiest ones, then build up the difficulty level.

b. Write a character once or twice. Once you have a list of words in front of you, go through this list writing each word once or twice, then start from the beginning and go through it again. Do this for as many times as you need to; It will ensure that the words you have learned are more firmly planted in your memory.

c. Whenever possible, watch Chinese movies, videos, and TV programs that have subtitles. It is one of the best and easiest ways for a person to learn Chinese, through both the spoken and written word. http://chinat0wn.blogspot.com/2008/03/learn-chinese-pinyin-in-6-minutes.html

d. Get some post-it's and write down characters you are about to learn. Stick them to the objects they relate to.

After time, you'll notice many characters have elements in common. They may be related to each other through the meaning or pronunciation of the word. By noting common elements, it will help you to remember much easier.

Step 4

The grammar of the Chinese language, is almost identical to all other languages. The only difference you may find between Chinese and English grammar is the sequence of words. Therefore, pay close attention to these differences and practice them as much as possible.

The most important thing to remember is not to be afraid of mistakes. Most people have difficulty learning a language...mostly because they are extremely self conscious and are worried too worried to make mistakes.

The Best way to learn anything, especially something tough is to break it down and do it a little at a time, each day. Consistency is King so, add it to your daily schedule. You'll be amazed at your progress.

Great Places To Start Learning Chinese To Make Your Life Better

One of the most interesting ways to learn Chinese is by finding an online course or software you can use on your computer. More and more people are becoming interested in learning this language because of the growth in China within the economic markets.

Currently, over 1.2 billion (1 in 5) people speak this language. In fact, it is the most commonly spoken language throughout the world today. That number is only expected to climb.

When it comes to learning Chinese, your level of learning doesn't matter - courses are available for all stages. These courses will help you to learn to write characters, understand grammar as well as using the right tones and the proper way to pronounce the words.

So, if you don't have the resources to visit China for an extended period of time or to take classes at a local college, these options are powerful! I recommend finding some great softeware programs like Rosetta Stone and Fluenz Manderin. Then, use Skyp to practice with live available teachers over the internet Skype (a free form of voice over Internet Protocol). This is an easy way to carry out conversational Chinese on a regular basis.

Because of the growth in internet connections, as well as the advancements in voice over internet protocol (VOIP) software, it has made it extremely easy for people to find a tutor and polish up on what you have already learned.

Skype can not only connect you to freelance tutors, but also language schools who use this form of technology to help their students with their lessons. Some are even located in China. This can make learning Chinese so much easier because it is in the comfort of your home, but keep in mind the time difference (about 12 hours from the East Coast).

Some other helpful ways to start learning Chinese is to buy mp3, cd's, videos of familiar music/shows translaeted in Chinese so you can start emersing yourself in the language. You will be surprised at what you will find!

Learning Basic Learning Skills Makes Your Life Best

Here is a list of problems, new students often face when starting to learn Chinese:

1. Recognizing and writing the characters.

2. How to correctly pronounce characters.

3. The Meaning of each character.

4. Finding the right character.

New technology has helped overcome these barriers offering not only a fun way to learn but more effectively and efficiently.

It is documented that there are over 80,000 Chinese characters. Luckily for us , many are rarely used today. The modern version of the language only requires the average person to know about 3,500 characters to be proficient.

The kicker is, for each English word translated into Chinese, it usually uses two or more characters. Each character is linked together, read from left to right, and is written in relation to its purpose within the content of the text.

Chinese writing comes in many different forms and styles. Some date back to very ancient times and began as pictures. Today, there are normally two forms used: simplified and traditional.

Simplified is predominately and officially used in mainland China, while the more traditional form can be found in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

So, are you ready to learn Chinese? Find out in my next post.

Did you know that the Chinese Olympic Logo is an interpreted version of the ancient character "jing" which means "capital"?

Easy Ways To Learn Chinese To Make Your Life Better

It doesn't matter what you want to learn, you must put time and effort into it. This is especially true of learning Chinese.

Here are some ideas to make the time you spend learning more effective and efficient:

1. Integrate new material with more familiar material to make your basic level of learning stronger.

2. Develop a concept map, to identify characters or groups of characters which are similar
(groups of characters should have similar meaning and in similar clusters).
a. Words which fit into the same sort of pattern.
b. Those characters which share the same sort of radical or same sort of phonetic (similar
pronunciation) components.
c. Those characters which share any other type of component that is similar.
d. Look at placing those characters together which have a shared idea, such as colors,
activities or places.

3. Create hierarchical chart to break down single characters into smaller and more meaningful
components.

4. Make a mnemonic device to help remember particular parts of your character. One way of
remembering it is through using a picture, which will suggest the characters particular
strokes.

5. After each lesson, wait 15 minutes and go back over what you just learned. Studies have
shown a quick review shortly after a lesson helps retain the lesson better.

6. Read out loud. Reading out loud is a great way to practice and helps to discover particular
words and phrases which need more work. Plus if you ever have to read out loud , you will be
better prepared.

7. Don't study for long periods of time. Study a little each day, and you will find it is easier to
learn the language (you will more likely retain what you learned this way).

8. Break up learning new vocabulary into several small sessions. You can do this while travelling
to school or work, or even when you are waiting in line to pay for your groceries.

9. The most effective way to learn Chinese characters is to memorize them. A great way is to
write them down. (Don't write the same word over and over again, write each word down once
or twice, then go to the next one. Then go through the list again until you are comfortable
with it. This helps to put the words more firmly into memory and your mind.)

10. If possible, practice with a partner. Each person read a line, like a conversation (but do
not use your books or study notes). To understand what has been said, each person reads the
response a second time in English.

11. When reading Chinese, cover the pinyin (the way it sounds) while reading the text to understand the characters better. If unsure of a character, write down notes on a separate piece of paper to refer to
later.

Developing the above habits will make learning Chinese so much easier!

How To Set Up Google AdSense To Make Your Life Better

Google AdSense is a by product of Google AdWords. Goggle AdWords are the ads you see when you search on Google and you see the ads on the right side of the page under the title, "Sponsored Links" or when you visit a site and you see the row or column that say, "Ads By Google".

Google AdSense is the means of placing the "Ads by Google" on your site to bring in some income.

Here is how you can get started:

1. Sign up for an AdSense account

It takes a couple minutes to create your user name and password. You only need one account! It is considered "black hat" or "bad" to set up more than one account and Google will boot you out if you try to set up more than one account.

2. Then you follow the instructions in the "AdSense Set-Up" tab. You can change colors and fit the look of the ads to meet your theme of your blog.

3. After you have identified the ad "look" and any variables such as a filter for ads you may not want, such as a competitor's ad.

What Google does, is place ads on your site that are in relation to the content you have written in your posts. So, setting up blocks or filters may be beneficial.

4. After that, Google AdSense will give you code to copy and then paste into your blog. Each blog service is a little different so if you have additional questions please email me at admin@MyBestLifeNow.com and I will try to figure it out.

On Blogger they have made it really easy. Go to your http://www.yourdomain.blogspot.com/ site and click on "Customize" on the top right corner. That will open up 3 main tabs and you will be on the "Layout/page element" page. Go to the blue text "add a page element" and click. There will be a list of elements you can add.

If you want to just add the copied code from Google AdSense click "add html/java script" and paste the code there and save. If you want life to be super easy... after you have opened your AdSense account you can go to the "AdSense" page element (also located in the "Add Page Element" page and if you have your AdSense account up, it should pop open a page where you can customize the ads you want on your blog there and then click "save" and voila, you have AdSense on your page!

People often ask, "How much money can I make with AdSense?" Well, more than likely it isn't a who lot, especially in the beginning. Most who do make a lot on AdWords have multiple sites (like 1000+) to make a living at it. Those whose site is very popular may only need the one site but again their site is VERY popular.

I don't mean to discourage you, because this is a free service and over a period of time you can earn an extra $100-$200 a month. Not something to cough at especially with the rise of gas and grocery prices.

Things to remember:
1. Only open one account: Google is strict about this and will hunt you down and boot you out when they find you!
2. Google does not allow you to click on your own ads
3. Google frowns on you asking friends and family to click on your ads.
4. Good Karma: Visiting other sites and clicking on others' ads will persuade others to visit and click on your ads.

Where To Start: Learning "How To" Speak Chinese?

Okay, so after watching the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympics how can you deny that China has become a power house to be sought after as a business opportunity? Chinese has become one of the most popular languages. China is extremely influential in the world’s business markets today and even more so in the future.

I know I don't have to remind you that Chinese is a very difficult language to learn. But if you have been able to master English (another very difficult language to learn) then, with some effort you should be able to learn Chinese, too.

Take Note to remember that this language is tonal. You will have to think of learning it like you would a foreign salesman or sports announcer would in English. Each word, when pronounced using the 4 different tones, will have a different meaning. Plus, you not only need to learn about the tones, you also have to learn and memorize the Chinese characters (more than 3000). [** Note to Self ** combining 2character forms another meaning]

Obliviously, the best way to learn and study a language to visit and live in the country with the language you wish to speak, called "immersing" yourself in the language and culture.

If you can, find somewhere that does exchange programs, or even a private school in China that you could attend.I can see though, how this is not an option for most...
Luckily, there are some other options and when combined can greatly influence the chance of reaching your goal to learn Chinese.

The Internet has made it extremely easy and possible to learn Chinese, without actually having to go to China to carry out their studies. Several sites on the web offer free lessons to learn Chinese. One example is
www.chinese-tools.com/learn/chinese or www.LearnChineseForFree.com

Another great way for learning the language, if you are unable to spend time in the country itself, is through finding an exchange partner, or hosting an exchange student or teacher from China.

The best way of finding an exchange partner is through your local College, School, or ESL Department. They will be able to find you a student whose native language is Chinese, and is willing to spend time with you teaching you their language.

However, you will need to reciprocate and be prepared to spend time with them teaching them how to speak your language. It is recommended to have basic familiarity with the language before looking into this. Early communication with two unfamiliar parties can be challenging!

There are also a number of groups that have been organized by such sites as Yahoo, where you can join and start to learn Chinese. One example is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/alearningchineseonlineclub/

It is through these groups and forums that you will be able to post any questions you may have regarding the language, and be provided with feedback from those that either speak Chinese or those that are also learning it themselves.

The final way you may want to consider for learning to speak Chinese is through making new friends whose native tongue is this language.

Soon, you will discover just how much easier it is to learn this language when you spend time with the people whose speak it!

What Is Most Important To Making Your Life The Best?

I want to challenge myself and hopefully you.

I get so caught up trying to do things: busy raising kids, caring for a household, crossing out things on my to-do lists, and I haven't slowed down in a while to ask myself some important questions to make sure I am on track, have you?

What do you think is the most important factor to create your ideal life? Is it your education? Is it the tools and skills you acquire? Is it the way you were brought up? Is it the way you perceive and look at life?

What are your expectations for yourself? What have you been putting off? Have you ever wondered what would happen if you made decisions about your life without fear?

These are really important questions? Would you agree?

*Thanks http://bia2.com/ramona/ for the photo!

I spent too much of life in limbo, waiting for the right things to happen to in order for me to then do the things I want to do. I realize that this has been my excuse, my reason for not "going for it". I don't mean to jump into something spontaneously with clear thinking and thoroughness but have you put off what makes you happy or something that fills an empty spot in your being?

I have...who will join me in taking a challenge to change?

Can you write down 3 goals and share them with me?

My top four are (they aren't super crazy, nor exciting except to me:
1) Pay off my house and other business debt;
2) Send my kids to the school I want to send them to; and
3) Learn Chinese;
4) Continue to invest in my well being and prosperity.

It is a good place to start, isn't it? Tell me where you are so I can learn from you too!

Ways to Learn the Chinese Language Makes Your Business The Best

So, now you know that Chinese IS the language you want to learn to become more business savy. Now you need to know which learning method works best for you to learn the Chinese language.

First, look at the best way you learn any subject. Does learning come easier to you when you rewrite phrases that they have heard? Or do you finds it easier to learn a language by rereading things over and over again?

You may find it much easier to learn the language if you say it out loud yourself, or hear someone else saying it out loud. If you don't know, try practicing each technique mentioned above, and see which method helps you learn more effectively.

Sometimes using a couple methods at the same time works the best. Such as rewriting a phrase or word after you haer it said, and then saying it yourself. Writing it down can also help becasue you can refer back to it.

To properly learn Chinese you must learn the 4 different tones. Each tone is drawn over the spoken word to give it a different pronunciation.

1. The first tone that the Chinese people use is high but flat. This means that the voice stays flat and should not either rise or dip in any way.

2. The second tone that the Chinese use is a rising tone, and the person’s voice should raise as they speak.

3. The third tone is known as the dipping tone, and when a word is spoken it will go up and then rise.

4. The fourth tone is the lowering tone. When used, this makes the word being spoken sound masculine.

The best way of learning how the tones sound is through listening to a native speaker. To learn this from reading is nearly impossible.
Here are some ways you can learn to speak Chinese:
1. To learn common phrases, buy a "How To" Learn Mandarin book. This you can easily do either through your local bookstore, or online through such sites as Amazon.

2. Purchase some audio cd's or mp3's to play while driving your car, or relaxing at home.

3. The best way is to take an introductory course to learn Chinese at you local college or adult education class. It will help you to gain confidence in speaking the language and ensure you are pronouncing the words and tones correctly. By taking a class, a person has a foundation to learn the language on their own.

4. Flash cards can also be very useful. Remember to then use each word in a sentence to practice it correctly.

To really learn any language, or for anything really, is to practice consistently. Persistence is the key. When we discontinue to practice we forget.

Make sure to pace yourself. Trying to learn to much to fast will cause you to forget what you have already learned; it overloads our brain, causing some of what was learned to be dumped to make space for the new information (this relates to short term and long term memory).

Simple Facts About The Chinese Language To Make Your Life The Best

The most popular language spoken in China is Mandarin, which is based on a dialect spoken in Beijing. It has recently been recognized as the official language of China, as well as those in Taiwan, and one of 4 official languages spoken in Singapore. Also, this language has now become one of the six official languages used in the United Nations.

Most dialects often consist of words spoken by their ancestors, back when China was made up of various different ethnic groups. Like many large countries, it was only after these groups came together under the Chinese empire, that they united the languages they spoke.

It is important to note China uses a standard formal written language; No matter what dialect they speak, their written language is the same. The various dialects of spoken Chinese use tones. Areas in North China use up to three tones, while in Southern China they use as many as 10 different tones.

When Manarin was used in China's education system and as the language for carrying out instructions, rules and laws, nearly every person in mainland China now speaks Mandarin.

Today, more people want to learn Mandarin in the Western hemisphere. Up until about 10 years ago, it was difficult to find someone who could teach others Mandarin. We have become to realize the importance of being able to communicate with this culture. Today, there are many schools across the US where it is now being taught, as well as, many high quality home-study courses.

In 1991 there were about 2,000 people taking the Chinese language proficiency test. This figure had risen to 117,660 in 2005. In fact, the Ministry of Education in China believe there are over 30 million people around the world learning Mandarin currently.

The 2 Top Reasons to Learn Chinese

1)China is quickly becoming a world leader econimcally...don't you want to be able to communicate effectively?

With China's recent economic explosion, it's quickly becoming a necessity to at least have the skills needed to work with them. Many major companies are looking for people who can help them communicate and establish themselves in China. The best way to get an edge on your competition in the job market is by being useful in non-traditional qualifications.

2) Establish YOUR business in a thriving market that is hungry for new products and services.

If you happen to own a business of any kind, then it makes complete sense to get your foot in the door with the Chinese speaking cultures as soon as possible. The market is huge, and they are looking for ways to spend money...why not provide them with YOUR products and services?
